Hi all,

This is my first post, I'm just getting familiar with the LSAT and law as a field. I've chosen to being studying with Powerscore books because I've hear really great reviews from people who've taken the LSAT. As far as online courses go, they're pretty expensive.

I'd like to know if they're even worth it in comparison with in-person sessions. I also wanted to ask if starting out with a course is better than studying on my own and then doing a course online? I'd also like to know if starting out now (June) would give me enough time to take the test in September of this year, or should I wait and study for a little longer? I'd greatly appreciate some feedback and thanks in advance!

Without knowing where you scoring now, there isn't much advice to offer except telling you to take a diagnostic test.

^what zkyggi said. Take a diagnostic.
Report back with how many you missed per section (ideally # of questions you got wrong and # of questions you did not get to) and any other notes regarding timing - i.e. did you finish RC early, run out of time on last passage, etc.

You have enough time to prep for Sept if starting now, but it depends on the person, where you are starting, and your goals.

Thanks so much for replying quickly, I'll use my day tomorrow to do a diagnostic test and go from there.
