Timing the LSAT

I'm taking the LSAT for the first time this June, and was wondering how it is timed. I am aware each section is 35 minutes, but do they start at a nice round time for each section, say directly at 12:30, so you can look at you watch and know that at exactly 1:05 you will be finished?

They definitely will not have a timer counting down. As far as the strict timing, I'm pretty sure once one section is complete it's only a few seconds until the next section begins (enough time for everyone to put their pencils down and turn the page) - aside from the break.

no, they typically will not have a timer for you, and they can start the test at any time once everyone is situated.
just put your watch to 12 and you'll be fine. they will give you the 5 min warning as well.
