For those who have taken the LSAT: When the time's up, do the proctors spare 2-3 seconds to adjust the timer or just go straight to the next section without pausing? Anything that future test-takers should be concerned with--rickety tables, noisy proctors, awful timer, etc? If the check-in time is 12:30, when do we get out of the test center?

It honestly just depends on your proctor(s)..
first time I took, we had about 15 or so seconds between sections. second time I took, we had about 30 seconds or so. just depends who you get, but u have heard of proctors who give like less than 5 seconds between sections and immediately tell you to turn to the next section.

On the digital pilot test, it was like 10 seconds between sections. Pretty exhausting by the time you get to the 3rd section. After the break it isn't so bad since it's just two sections and the writing.

On my 3 takes, it was usually 30 seconds between sections. I had 1 administration take 6 hours, one take 5, and one take under 4 (which was awesome and my best test taking performance). The 6 hour day was due to check in issues.

Make sure you follow all of the LSAC rules on what you can bring and watch requirements! Don't be the guy with a timing, beeping, or digital watch that doesn't get to use a timer because they couldn't read the guidelines. Also don't bring a mechanical pencil.

Testing conditions vary greatly. I had 1 in a really nice room with a huge table to spread my stuff out, but there was construction outside and it was awful. My best score came when I took it in a basement with no windows or distractions on one of those tiny half desks. If you're lucky, you'll get a big table and no distractions.

Get a pack of Ticonderoga pencils, they are good

Thanks for this! You alleviated one of my major stresses. Downloading that 7sage app for sure

I would suggest getting an analog stopwatch since it was pretty much impossible to tell how much time I had left with just a wristwatch and they don't give you any warning they you're running out of time to fill in guesses

Wait why no mechanical pencils?

People have apparently in the past smuggled in notes of some kind in the barrel?? (No idea what notes would actually help you on the LSAT but that was what I had heard.)
