164 on June 2007 -- is 175+ realistic?

Took the June 2007 practice cold and got a 164. No one section was significantly worse than the others so I need to practice across the board. Is 11+ point improvement realistic? My gpa is a 3.55 so I'm hopping my LSAT will outweigh GPA. I'm planning to take the LSAT in September so I have time. If anyone has suggestions on how to make this happen that'd be great or if I'm being unrealistic let me know.

What's realistic? I think I would be reasonably confident getting 3/1 on you but wouldn't do it for less. If you were just LG weak it would be an unequivocal yes. Problem is, depending on curves, you're talking about -5 or less aggregate and at that point randomness plays a much bigger role than someone at 154 gunning for 165.

Also, 175 seems arbitrary. If you're going for a full ride somewhere your GPA is going to prevent that in the T14 no matter your LSAT. Maybe a shot at NWestern ED if you have good work experience. If you're just gunning for entrance you likely will get in most everywhere you can get into with a 173 which, imo, is far more attainable. Don't kill yourself if you can't get a 175. The randomness at that point is brutal.

164 diagnostic, 174 on the test (but PT's went as high as 180). Anything's possible, fam. Just give this test the time and dedication it deserves. If this needs to be your new full time job, so be it.

I remember Alexandros flailing about over the summer, and I was knocking out 180's on PT's, like "yeah I got this fam". Then he kicks my ass on the real thing.

Better fucking come to UVA so I can get a rematch. Except in softball this time.

I owe you my score, fam. Got 90%+ of my study techniques from you.
Also Tort you still gotta write that study guide.
One of you 2 please write a study guide before the June LSAT.

How many months of prep did it take you to make that jump?

I sure hope so bc I started out at 160 and I'm hoping for the mid 170s. Most of my difficulties come with LG though so maybe that helps a bit.

A 164 cold diagnostic is really good. I don't see why you couldn't make a 10 point jump on a learnable test like the LSAT as long as you studied hard. Someone with a 140 diagnostic could do well if they put the time and effort in.

My cold diagnostic was a 151, I'm gunning for 173+, I'm pretty confident I'll get there.
