I just saw a clarification from him on Reddit that these percentages don't include an actual day release, which he puts at a 5% chance:maybeman wrote:I was wondering about that. Re: Feb 2017 Waiter's Thread!!!
Bad phrasing on my part, sorry - I think he meant that these were the probabilities not counting an actual day release, which he thinks unlikely. If we include the actual day release, the probabilities change, and on that division of probabilities, an actual day release would be a 5% possibility.etramak wrote:Then there is a 105% chance Mr. Killoran is bad at statisticschrysippusofsoli wrote:I just saw a clarification from him on Reddit that these percentages don't include an actual day release, which he puts at a 5% chance:maybeman wrote:I was wondering about that. As you can see above there is a 100% chance I can't avoid double posting.

I'm embarrassed to admit I've had multiple dreams now about grey day and all have been very happy dreams, which makes waking up kind of suck. It took me about a minute this morning to realize that today as Wednesday, February 22 and not Wednesday, March 1. I hope this means my unconscious knows more about how I did on the test than my awakened self. Or maybe they're just delusional fantasies. Compare these to my pre-February 4th nightmares of music blaring through the loudspeakers and indifferent proctors during the actual test

My dad texted me this morning "one week countdown plus or minus a day" and I was like yeah thanks for reminding me it definitely hasn't been like 80% of what I've been thinking about for the last 3 weeks.CMac86 wrote:Probably a week or less to go!

I think it's pretty common for people who actually care what score they get to have dreams/nightmares about the LSAT/gray dayetramak wrote:I'm embarrassed to admit I've had multiple dreams now about grey day and all have been very happy dreams, which makes waking up kind of suck. There's a wave of Harvard acceptances happening right now and even though Harvard TOLD me they're holding my app until my new LSAT comes out, I'm beyond anxious (FWIW, Chicago told me they were holding my app too and then they accepted me...haha so a girl can dream!)

Lived here my whole life and I think it's fair to say that distance won't matter as long as your commute isn't a bitch. If you live within walking distance of the B/D/f/M, you can pretty much get on a train and not have to worry about anything til you get off at West 4th Street.airwrecka wrote:Have you decided on a school in NY then? My husband and I have been browsing apartments there ever since I got into NYU, but we wouldn't be moving until August (if that's where I end up) so at this point, it's really just to get a feel for what is available. It's going to be a tough adjustment to go from a 1000 sq ft 1BD/1BA with a park in the back yard and within a five-minute walk of 3 different lakes (yeah, Minneapolis is awesome) to a 500 sq ft apartment in the concrete jungle oh, and we have a dog, too hahaha...etramak wrote:We're almost there. Hopefully this short week will go by fast. I also started apartment hunting so this should keep my mind occupied in the meantime. I plan on visiting several Manhattan closets that have been converted into bedrooms this week and hope to move into one by March 4th.airwrecka wrote:Nice! I'm always a little amazed by how quickly the time goes by. I have two projects due on Sunday, and then work is fairly busy as well. It has felt great to get caught up on everything that I was doing the bare minimum for (e.g. deep cleaned my home).

The logician in me is fully aware that I'm more than likely going to end up +/- 3 from my PT average of my last 10. I get it. Unfortunately, I'm having alternating thoughts, sometimes hourly, that I either earned a 160 or a 180. It's maddening.

Praying +/-3 for me. My avg over my last 5 PTs was 176.4, and I'd be happy with a 173, but every 5 or so tests I'd score 170/171 :/ Realllly don't want to retakechrysippusofsoli wrote:Same for me. almost same with me! average of last five was somewhere between 175 and 176 and if my score is towards the -3 edge of the range i'm gonna be crushed because idk how much a 172 will impact my cycle. i felt really good after the test and a 175-178 could completely change things for me.maybeman wrote:Praying +/-3 for me.
