I was scoring 177, 171, 173, 171, 175 and then my past 2 prep tests were a 168 (Saturday) and 167 (yesterday). I thought the first one was maybe a fluke, but nope. I've been studying 4-8 hours a day, with no days off for about a month now, so I guess this isn't a surprise.

With only 4 days left until the test, does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I have one prep test (80) left, and was originally planning
to do that on Friday. Not sure if I should just take 4 days completely off, or maybe just write 80 on Saturday instead and take today and tomorrow off.
Thoughts?
Yeah you gotta taper a bit.

I wouldn't take two consecutive days off. Maybe take today to off or just review. PT tomorrow, drill/ review sat, take Sunday off

I think the bernie wing is actually going to primary feinstein if she decides to run for her 200th term.

Retaking 77 today. Had pretty much my ideal breakdown on this test. Until my LG breakdown. Then I'll do the RC and LG from PTA.
Spending tomorrow reviewing and drilling. PT 79 on Saturday which is a brand new test. Nothing on Sunday cept reading and overwatch. I have a totally unsubstantiated belief that FPS games are helpful for LG.

Getting kinda excited for this.

Drilling a RC passage with a timer in a bit then have a 2 hour LR session with my tutor before playing some kickball. Doing a full PT of 78 tomorrow to line up with Monday's test. Some drills Saturday and probably a section of each Sunday just to do some light work.

Also identifying what I'm taking with me to warmup. I'm thinking 1 RC passage, 1 LG of the type that gives me the most difficulty, and 10-15 LR questions. Unless it's LG first section is usually my worst if I don't warmup. I've experimented with warming up with LR and it helped on the PT's that had LR first but when RC was first I faltered a bit so trying to jump my brain with a little of each is my hope to not have stupid mistakes in section 1.

Also avoiding going outside as much as possible, literally have almost been hit by 2 cars with drivers not paying attention this week.

I'm slightly apprehensive about Monday since it's my first actual test in 14 years, PTs in prep don't count to me because I think I'll be more anxious on test day than on my PT days, so we'll see. I'm scoring where my original goal was, I'm going for part time and a 165 will give me a good chance at most of the DC schools except Gtown, but now I want to join the 170+ club to make gtown a better possibility since they're the best DC school.

I haven't really been keeping close track and my range is prob like 167-176 because I make stupid mistakes but I think my average is around 172. Would definitely like to hit the higher end of my range though and I feel good about being able to do that.

Yeah you can't infer all bc they kinda imply that there some that are not in the group
When I first saw "Virtually All", i thought it meant something like "Basically all".

What does virtually mean lol
You're not wrong with "basically all". I'd think virtually all means "almost all".

Thank you. It makes a lot of sense now. Hopefully I see this in the LSAT and remember your words

Think of it this way, if I say "virtually all sea turtles live in the ocean" and you say "that's not true, I just saw one in the aquarium", I am not forced to revise my statement, bc it allows for exceptions.

If I say "all sea turtles live in the ocean" and you say "that's not true, I just saw one in the aquarium" then my statement is false.

Just took PT 79.

I bombed RC and this test. Haha.

PT 79
LR1: -5
RC: -9
LR2: -4
LG: 0

Score= 165

Sooo Disappointing. I scored a 170 on my last test.
I will take PT 80 on Saturday morning.

I had heard that the virus game was tough so I knew it was coming but I was glad that I was able to get all my questions rights.

I had a really hard time understanding the RC passages. This was probably the hardest RC section I have taken.

I reviewed the LR mistakes and noticed that 3/5 of the LR1 mistakes, I had switched my answer. I need to follow my guts more.
For RC, I just need to take my time and FOCUS. I need to make sure to find the answer that matches the passages.

If I score a 165 on actual test date, I will be happy. With a 165 though, I would retake again in September but I would probably take 2-3 practice tests leading up to the test date.

For my last 10. Pretty sure both the 176 and 2 166 are flukes so removing those I get an average of 170.6 so virtually the same.

Also, since there seem to be a good number of DC people in this thread, it may be a fun idea to explore the idea a post-test bar meetup.

Later in the morning I took a 35 min section of four really hard reading comp questions and did awesome (-1 on 29 questions ya boii) and then I did more work/meetings. Towards the end of the work day I did two LR sections and didn't do very good (-4 on both). Feel really defeated but I also felt afterwards like I was just wiped out from the day. Ugh

Maybe I will do some logic games tonight because I actually enjoy those.
Honestly, I'm kind of chillin'. I've been studying for six months, I think I know my stuff. I'm doing 3 LG sections a day (from 1-40) and I'll take PT 80 later this week, but other than that... I think I'm done.
that's your idea of chillin' huh?

Anyway I did PT 78 today. Decently hard RC and harder LR, especially the second section, where there were three LR questions that were worded super weirdly. Also, screw the sumerians and their clay tablets and tokens.

LR1: -1
LG: -1
LR2: -4
RC: -3

171

Tough curve. Was hoping for 175+ in order to boost my confidence but sadly LR wouldn't let me get that.
Wondering if I should do PTs 79 and 80 Wed-Fri or Thurs-Sat.
Good job on PT 78.

Did you end up taking PT 79 yesterday or Today?

I took PT 79 this morning and I will take PT 80 on Sat. Hopefully I dont burn out for Monday.

Now if we take post 166 disaster of a couple of weeks ago my range is 171-176 with an average of 173. Wish I had more data points for this period of time but I just "feel" fundamentally different since then, like I actually understand this test and am only missing stuff due to stupid shit/temporary loss of focus. Besides PTs I've done tons of timed sections and these are all -0 to -2 for LR, -1 to -3 RC and -0 to -2 LG. Even worse case combination of these I'm in the 170s. Before this point there were many questions that I legitimately did not understand.

Pretty confident my actual test will fall somewhere between 169-174.
