Hello!
I wanted to see if anyone on here has used a private tutor in their LSAT prep, and if you have, if it made a substantial difference in your score.
Just for a bit of background - my diagnostic test back in August was a 149, I went through the 3 Powerscore bibles, took a class through Manhattan prep, and am now taking timed prep tests that are 6 sections each. The highest score I've gotten is a 167 (I had a really great test out of nowhere), but I am in the range of 160-164. The area I'm struggling with the most is RC. I typically only get 15-20 correct. LR 3-5 wrong. LG about 1-3 wrong.
I know a private tutor is VERY expensive, but, in the grand scheme of things, if getting a private tutor made the difference between getting a 164 and a 172, I think it is VERY much worth the price, considering the fact that it would put me "in the game" so to speak.
