Currently I tend to score between -3 to -5 on RC, and it is my weakest section. I am looking for some different approaches to reviewing that section of the test. I have been pretty stagnant lately. My current review process is not too elaborate, I simply re-read the passage again untimed. If it was a passage I struggled on, then I make underlines under the portion of the text I am using to support or revise my answer. I tend to get most if not all the questions right after an untimed review.

I advocate for mastering a note taking system.

Reduces error rate to zero once in place. Makes a large difference on the toughest questions.

What is your current system? Reading with no notes is going to require some for serious reading retention skills...

What would be the types of wrong answers you would note down?

During initial read, I make few notations if any. Typically my current process is to spend the bulk of the time on 3 of the 4 passages (28-30min), and more quickly read the easiest passage (5-7min).

As for my review process I really mark up the passage, go back and underline where the right answers are coming from, and find the spot in the passage where I took the incorrect information from. Additionally I really analyze the passage and question stems to get a better idea of where answers are being taken from.
