Hey all!
I'm planning to retake in Feb... but I still want to apply this cycle? My top choice is UT, and I realistically see myself scoring better on the February test. They also take the Feb score. Is this taboo or ill-advised? I don't want to waste my 4.0, but nerves on test day and sporadic practice dropped me to a 156 on test day after PTing in the mid 60s.
Yes, I could get into some OK schools, i.e. SMU, but Texas is my top choice.
Advice one way or the other??? Thanks!

Re: Feb retake for this cycle? Realistic?
Is this taking into account the fact that people often advise February is a bad retake for admissions? So many spots are filled, your numbers should be better, etc. I am in-state by the way!poptart123 wrote:Shoot for mid 160s and you're in at Texas with your GPA. Get a 167 and you're looking at Texas with some decent money, I bet. Assuming you are from Texas (judging by your choice of schools), Texas could be really affordable even with a median LSAT.Rox1994 wrote:Hey all!
