I'm trying to figure out my study schedule for the next three weeks, and I can't decide how many days before the test I should take my last PT (Wednesday? Thursday? the Saturday before?)

Anyone have any recommendations?

I think you should just stick to whatever your normal practice schedule is. I'm taking one the Wednesday before.

I think everyone will have a different approach to this but what I personally did was I took my last scored PT the Saturday before and it was the most recent PT that was available. I followed my normal blind review process, kept drilling my problem areas the week of, and also took a final PT the Tuesday or Wednesday before but I did not score it. I didn't want to risk a bad day or fluke score getting into my head so close to test day but I also wanted to keep getting my timed practice and BR in.

The most important thing for the final days, I believe, is keeping a positive mindset and avoiding any burnout. Good luck!

The important thing to get from these responses is that it is highly individualized and you should do whatever makes you feel the most comfortable. I took a practice LSAT the day before the test FWIW.

I'd recommend doing one on the Saturday preceding your actual LSAT, starting at the same time. Whether that serves as your final PT or not is your decision, but I would take a PT during that time slot.

I'm taking PTs in the saturday morning timeslot the 3 saturdays leading up to the 24th. so tomorrow, the 10th and the 17th. Id prolly take a PT on the tuesday and thursday on test week and do some review and drilling that friday. I'm really limited in as many tests I have available and this is my last take or else I'd prolly take more

I took one two days before and used the day before to do nothing and just mentally relaxed. It's up to you - just make sure you're ready for the marathon test on test day and not exhausted from taking PTs minutes before the exam (unless, of course, you can handle this sort of training).

I haven't taken one on a Saturday morning yet. I have American Ninja Warrior training every Saturday morning from 10:30-noon-ish. I'm wondering if I should take that off for the week before the test? Do you think that having a physically demanding routine during the time of the test could negatively affect my performance???

I dont think it will matter so long as you have taken tests at around that same time (8:30ish). If your brain is used to doing work in the morning you should be good. I usually excercise in the morings too with cardio and lifting, I think if anything its beneficial. American ninja training sounds dope tho

I took the 12:30 test in June, and have been doing the 8:30-9:00 test routine for a couple of months now.....I saw a zero difference in score. Everyone is going to be different, but if you're used to being functional/thinking in the morning, I bet it won't make a huge difference (probably should do at least a few PTs at the same time though).

As for OP, sounds like you already have your question answered, but I agree with your course of action
