Hey, do we have any Rhode Islanders on this forum that want to form a study and/or accountability group to stay on track for the LSAT?

I'm up for it. I just restarted studying after taking about two months off (I got about two months in). I learned that touring while taking full-time classes is not conducive to having time to do much beyond what is required. I work full time as a musician (military) and am completing my undergrad via distance education. I'm set to complete undergrad early 2018. My contract is up in August 2019. I am looking at going to law school fall 2019, but am open to deferring to 2020, depending on whether or not my terminal leave is approved or if they will grant me an early out for education.

Touring season is about over, and I reworked my class schedule to be no more than two classes at once. So, I have a more stable schedule in school and work.

I'm planning on going back through the Power Score Bibles, just ordered the LSAT Trainer, and have 20 practice tests, so far. I'm planning on ordering more practice tests as I finish these. As long as work approves the time off, I'm planning on taking the Feb 2017 LSAT. The June and September test dates are during a time where it is next to impossible for me to get a Saturday off, so I'm looking at taking February and December tests.

So far, I have completed seven practice tests. My initial diagnostic was a 150, the "shake the rust off" test I completed yesterday was a 153. Before taking two months off, I was consistently writing high 150's and low 160's (about a month in). My goal score is 165+.

Hey, I have done Kaplan and am now doing 7Sage. I sat and got a 158, but was PTing my past 5 PTs 159-162... so, just trying to break that 160 mark on my official (though, my stretch goal is a 165).

What part of RI do you live in? I am in the metro Providence area. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk further.

I'm in Newport/Middletown area. It isn't much of a stretch to guess which branch of service I am in.

What do you think of 7sage? I have started to get more active on this forum, and I keep seeing their site mentioned. The info is inviting...but I want to get through the materials I currently have before diving in. I just started reading the LSAT Trainer, and am going to give their 12-week schedule a shot.

My top three practice tests (a month-month and a half into studying, before I stopped during touring season) were 159, 162, 159.

I'll hit you up as time goes on.

I don't really have an opinion on 7Sage Yet (recently started it), but it was really cheap for a prep course, so I went with it this time. So far, it is quite different from Kaplan - I'll probably end up blending the two together, but it's certainly more than just a review of the Kaplan stuff. I may have to wait till the Dec LSAT (don't want to, but we'll see) because of having to process and absorb brand new tactics

I noticed ever since I organized a study group in DC this trend has been all over the place..
