I wonder if Prep test score ever rises so suddenly

For the last 10 PTs, I got 169 168 169 for the first three, and suddenly started getting consistent 173 for the rest. (PT 61 ~ 71, first time solving them) I'm confused because my PT scores had been normally consistent, and indicative of real score for the last two LSATs.
I took the first three in uncrowded Starbucks, and the later seven in home with TV noise from my parents. I guess level of the auditory disturbance didn't change, although the sense of home security could have caused better performance.
Or perhaps is it that people who took test in 2011 ~ 2012 (PT 64 ~ 71) were, in some sense, worse test takers than those who took in beforehand?
I'm confused what I should be expecting from this sudden leap.
Also, I wonder, given that my previous actual scores were 63 and 66, what would be the meaningful score to reapply with? Perhaps 70+?
