Would using religious beliefs/religious background be too inappropriate to talk about in a diversity statement?

I know someone who, in their personal statement, talked about wanting to go to law school so they could legally help the "Wiccan" religion (and she was Wiccan). She was accepted to Georgetown. I'm sure she had a decent LSAT score.
