This is a serious question!
Has anybody found a particular pencil that fills in bubbles particuarly heavier and quicker?
Or has anybody found diffrences in sharpening of pencils (i.e. a short point versus a long point)
Sorry, It's 3:34am.

Does anyone know if LSAC will grade your LSAT if you just put a strike through your bubble to save time.
You could save like 34 seconds!!!!

I heard that if you ask to have your LSAT handscored they can correct for not knowing the correct answer on test day.

i say a dull tip is better, it has a wider area so it fills the bubble faster. however i always like a sharper tip for games so i can diagram clearer.

Do not use a mechanical pencil or sharp ended non-mechanical one. Make sure it has a dull point for easier and quicker bubbling.

The Mirado Black Warrior is the weapon of a true master.

The Dixon Ticonderoga is also excellent. For children.

Please, don't feed me that non-hexagonal black warrior garbage... That Dixon Ticonderoga is the Cadillac of pencils.

"The Black Warrior, with it’s black finish, banded brass ferrule and rounded shape, stands out among American pencils when on a desk or sticking out of a shirt pocket."
"Considering their relatively inexpensive price tag, wide availability and impressive quality, the Black Warrior is a formidable tool to have in a Comrade’s graphite arsenal."

While I am completely amazed that there is an active site that reviews pencils with such fiery language, I guess it makes sense when there are entire law school boards asking for the "Best pencil to use to bubble the quickest".

Wow. I thought I was the only one who was aware of the mighty Dixon Ticonderoga. I credit that pencil with my 10pt score increase on test day...and I'm only half kidding....

God damn right. When judgment day comes, you're going to need the Black Warrior by your side.

A dull (non-sharpened) pencil is the best to bubble with. If you sharpen your pencils, you'll have cover up more with a small point of contact.

I happened to see a black Dixon Ticonderoga in an office about a year ago. It was, if possible, even more B.A. than the Black Warrior, and I'm a Mirado man myself.

Verify wrote:Essentially a small stamp-type mechanism that imprints a lead cachet, so to speak, upon the bubble one wishes to fill. According to the, admittedly rather rudimentary, calculations I have conducted, I theorize that - in some instances - even several minutes could be salvaged in one's allotted timetable for each section by avoiding the frustrating minute sliding of one's pencil within a lilliputian circle such as those found on standardized exams. This stamping device would be exactly the diameter and circumference of the bubble, allowing for one to manifest their intended response to a given question expeditiously, effortlessly, and dependably.
