RE: male/female v. man/woman, my undergrad background is law enforcement and cops and dispatchers always describe people as male or female. I think from their perspective, they don't know the person's age and therefore the person may be technically a boy or a girl or a man or a woman, so they simplify and make it technically correct by just specifying the sex.

WashU is a truly thirsty law school which is actually kind of great for applicants.
They interviewed me before I even applied just based on my LSAT score which let me get a decision really quickly. They're also super generous with money so if you can, I'd find ways to engage with them early on. I'm happy with my outcome but depending on what you want to do and where you want to practice going to WashU with a full ride (which tons of people get because WashU is loaded.) is also a great option.

The ennui is hitting me hard today so I decided to stop lurking.

Has anyone else thought about what they'll do depending on what score they get?

For example, if I get above a 170, I will probably not retake, but will be permanently disappointed in myself (but I'm already there, so no real difference).
If I get above a 173, I will probably experience a fleeting feeling of relief, to be replaced with disappointment.
If I get below a 167, I will probably seek residency in Canada where physician-assisted suicide is now legal.

The internet said that it's not healthy to link my self-worth to my LSAT score, but I didn't have any to begin with. So essentially, I'm just waiting to experience the new degree of self-loathing that will accompany my score, no matter the score.

On another note, red wine or white wine? I'm thirsty.

Yes red wine ostensibly fits better with brooding and pessimism.

But upon further consideration, there is a certain melancholy brought on by enough white wine, so it fits my dark personality in that sense

Cabernet and pino noir for red, sauvignon blanc for white. But if it's made from grapes and contains alcohol, I'll drink it. Who am I to judge. Maybe I'll try both and report back.

Cab and sauvy blanc are my faves! Currently drinking vinho verde in the park in my underwear so that's chill, im enjoying the effervescence

I was too lazy to unsubscribe from Wash U's emails so I just deleted them throughout the cycle and then at the end they sent me a survey asking why I didn't apply even though they sent me so many nice emails and I got a $5 gift card for filling it out.
