For the record I've been obsessed with this since my buddy saw it in previews at The Public and called me as soon as he got out to tell me that someone had written a musical for me.

I mean it's fine to like it/love it, but I'm just over the hype.
Also I just googled Hamilton and he was 5'7. Much less DTF now but like what's the expression, everyone's the same height when they're horizontal?
That's not an expression is it

It's an expression, I think? It sounds vaguely familiar. Total tangent, but I think the height thing is overrated, I'm slightly above average height and dated a girl that was way taller than me and it was great.pretzeltime wrote:Early fan status notedBirdLawExpert wrote:For the record I've been obsessed with this since my buddy saw it in previews at The Public and called me as soon as he got out to tell me that someone had written a musical for me.

Just googled it and google autocompleted the phrase before I could finish typing it. I'd say it's an expression at that point.john1990 wrote:no thats not an expression lolpretzeltime wrote:Early fan status notedBirdLawExpert wrote:For the record I've been obsessed with this since my buddy saw it in previews at The Public and called me as soon as he got out to tell me that someone had written a musical for me.

Oh, I think it's "everyone's the same height lying down". I guess it's not so much an expression as a really shitty pick up line dudes use on me from time to time. I'm pretty tallBirdLawExpert wrote:It's an expression, I think? It sounds vaguely familiar. I mean it's just situational.....sometimes the height differences can be overcome. Depends on the confidence of both parties involved
But Hamilton is just like all my favorite actors.......way shorter than I imagined them. Womp
Anywhoooooooooo

That's cool. I like the show's gnarly/accurate portrayal of the female body (just on feminist principle), but I could see it putting off some men with fainter hearts.TheMikey wrote:I watch it, and nah I know guys who watch this show tbh.pretzeltime wrote:Do you watch? It's interesting because the show kind of grosses me out/bums me out a lot but I still watch. Definitely puts me in a bit of a dark mood

We did a play once where our director told us that if anybody left the theatre at the end of the night with so much as an ounce of joy in their hearts, we didn't do our job.pretzeltime wrote: It's interesting because the show kind of grosses me out/bums me out a lot but I still watch. The show can get meh and boring sometimes. I'm not a huge fan of it but I just watch it because most Netflix originals are good, imo. Plus there's a lot of funny moments and crazy eyes(?) is funny, haha. Speaking of Netflix originals, you guys should check out 'The Do-Over' with Adam Sandler and David Spade, it was hilarious!pretzeltime wrote:That's cool. For some reason my brain is not remembering the standard ice cream truck jingle, and trying to sound it out from your phonetic description my brain is just defaulting to the Mario theme song. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯TheMikey wrote:Might be the latter.. lol but for real you should go outside and check!needahobby451 wrote:I keep hearing this ice cream truck song very faintly -- not sure if there's one outside or if I'm going insane
