Odds are against that though!
Welcome! Our convos about alcohol, pretzels, and other random stuff should take your mind off of the LSAT. Wait, what's the LSAT?
I turned 21 on the 8th, so I've been taking advantage of the alcohol portion of that; lacking on pretzels since then though, I'll get to work.

I hang out here. But I use a lot of resources reddit has in the non-default subs. Stuff like cooking, organizing, credit card miles deals, retirement planning, r/books is awesome, etc.
I stay far FAR away from r/all though...
You frequent /r/churning as well? One of my favorite hobbies!

Hell yes dude. People who aren't taking advantage of those sweet sweet sign up bonuses and at least dabbling in manufactured spend are missing out. Free travel is the shit!

fetishists enthusiasts, just got a new Parker Sonnet ballpoint for my birthday
Needed a non-fountain pen to take notes with in school, so this should be perfect. Matte black, silver trim. Writes wonderfully (well, for a ballpoint haha).
See I take all my notes with a fountain pen. No idea why a ballpoint is ever needed. I mean...I keep the Lamy Safari ballpoint in my bag along with the fountain pen but almost never use it. It's just...not the same man.
But I appreciate the Parker Sonnet so hope you enjoy!

I legitimately thought r/churning was about making butter. Turns out that was wildly incorrect.

To chime in on the score release date convo, the last time we had a June 6 test was 2011, and release date was set at 6/29. Actual release was 6/27, two days early. I think the 27th sounds like a pretty good bet (and it's also the day most prep companies are predicting, I think).

I was kinda depressed when I was, or well excused myself bc I couldnt affored to not be at work (or well they couldnt afford me not being there that long) but it was a prescription drug dealing case + possession of a firearm or something like that. Would have been interesting to be a part of

I was in your situation last summer. Spent 3 days just doing jury selection and eventually they didn't want me. If you really wanted to serve then I can see if you're a bit upset though.

Haha thanks guys for being supportive of my minuscule achievement.
On a more serious note I was edging towards a panic attack last night thinking about how I'm going into a career where I'll need to go to stupid formal functions and do a lot of stupid socializing/networking/smiling with some amount of frequency and wear fucking business casz all the time. That truly freaks me out.
I think it's the biggest drawback of the legal profession to me. As versus being a journalist or something a bit more creative.
Honestly if that's your biggest concern I think you'll be totally fine. As far as I can tell, as an associate those kinds of things are pretty few and far between, and once/if you're a partner/in house you'll be so full of yourself that little things like social functions won't bother you anymore

Honestly, I feel you on the whole formal thing. I've never been the type to dress up in a suit and go to things like that, but I did last year (networking events for law students/pre law students) and it wasn't that bad. I met a lot of great people too!
Also, good job on the no booze last night!
