Hi,
People say if you want to work or earn well in the U.S. you should go to T14 schools, but if I want to work outside the U.S, say China, Japan, etc, or work as an international lawyer and do not stay in one country, does it matter which law school I go?
Thank you,

That's what I was confused about. I couldn't tell if OP was talking about attorneys outside of the U.S or IL.

Before you go off and become a well renowned international barrister, I have an Alaskan Igloo that just might catch your eye

Based on my understanding, an International lawyer must first specialize in one area like domestic lawyers, and then know how to employ the rules of international law. It would be better if you can work with more than one language such as French or Chinese. I'm from China, so I am not sure if you must go to a prestigious law school in the US., but in China law firms doing foreign business attach great importance to the applicant's education background and usually demand an oversea study experience of the applicant. I think you should try to find an oversea exchange program and experience the law in other countries. It will do great to your study and career.

Thanks for the replies...I want to work in the U.S. for a few years first, so that's why I want to study law here.
I guess I only had a vague idea about "international lawyers."
Will do some research.
Thanks
