Regression on First Full Practice?

Took my first five-section PT last weekend (and first full PT since diagnostic), and did significantly worse than I had done on practice sections (the scores I got on 4/5 sections were worse than any practice section I had attempted). Attributable to first-time jitters? Or emblematic of a greater issue that I can target in a particular way besides more 5-section PT's? Would love to hear from those who have experienced similar patterns.

I can't remember whether I actually regressed, but I certainly was disappointed in my first full PT score after a lot of studying since the diagnostic. Ended up improving on the next few (and really improving by the time I took the test). I think lack of endurance probably contributes significantly to first time stagnation/regression.

Same thing happened to me. After 3 months of studying and some what knowing what to do, I decided to take my first timed PT since my diagnostic. I ended up scoring the exact same as my diagnostic which really hit my self-esteem and I got frustrated. After that I didn't do anything LSAT for like 2 weeks but then said "screw it I can do this", and now I'm getting better at this test. I would attribute the same score on my 1st PT as my diagnostic mainly because I knew what I was doing but I was nervous, even though it was only a PT. I think this nervousness/jitters go away over time with more and more PT, but I don't think anyone can ever be 100% calm on the real thing, maybe close to it, but not 100%.
