i would just take it tbh if this is your first try. Just to get the feel of it and all the jitters out

Interesting, I thought someone bumped an old thread haha! Personally I would just wait. If you use one as a try out, then choke on the second, the third is a lot more stressful. There's not much to gain from the experience if you haven't maxed your potential yet.

I would take it. I studied for the October test for about 4 months but didn't do too hot. Studied for another month and took the December test. I felt way more relaxed and confident in the December test. Not that I had studied much more, but I knew what test day would be like. Increased my score by 9 points.

I would also take it. I scored 4-5 points higher than my average PTs on the day of, so I think the adrenaline of test day actually helped in my case. And as proven by countless users on here, it won't hurt you if you need to retake.
