The digital photo requirement...is getting unnecessarily complicated

I understand the printed photo has to be 2x2. However the digital photo, the one you submit on LSAC. Does that have to be 2x2 as well? I can't even get it down that small when I try to edit the photo. When I uploaded the photo. LSAC had no problem with it (I received no error and was allowed to proceed).
I mean it should be fine and as long as I bring a 2x2 of the same photo and my id, right?

I just scanned the one that I'm going to use for the day of the LSAT and uploaded it with no problem. Idk what size it is digitally but it didn't give me any problem so you should be fine. But yes, for test day the one you bring in has to be 2x2.

Yes, I just had mine scanned as well. I will make sure the actual photo is 2x2.
Thanks..
Goodluck!!

Did you guys lose some of the quality to your photo when you scanned it?? The highest quality scan I could get still isn't perfect and I'm worried I'll be denied on test day

Yes - spend the handful of bucks to get a good, clear scan at Kinko's. Why take the risk and give yourself one more thing to stress out over?

does the uploaded photo have to be the same as the one used in test admission printout?

Why are you paying to scan a file if you already have a digital copy? Crop or resize in paint and Google compress photo if it's still too big

Hi All,
I have a similar issue as well. I had gotten my professional photo's taken at Walgreen's and the photo meets all of the requirements. I went and uploaded the photo on LSAC but my photo that was uploaded is really small. I am scared that I will be turned away on test day because even though my photo (which is a 2x2 passport photo) meets all the requirements, the upload is too small and it is too small on my admissions ticket.
Thoughts? Anything is much appreciated. Thank you.

What...the...fuck is everyone talking about in this thread???! A 2x2 picture?? I though you needed your digital photo as printed on your admissions ticket and one form of gov't ID (passport, DL, etc). Period. Dot.
Am I smoking crack or is there some mythical third picture now required??

I'm just going to bring the baby book my mom put together complete with my first lost tooth, hair from my first haircut and all the family photos since I was 2 days old. Fuck it...can't be too careful.

Yeah wait I'm so confused. Are you guys just scanning your driver's licenses/official ID's and uploading them to the admissions ticket?? Cus I'm pretty sure that doesn't fly. And yeah where does it say anything about 2x2??
I def don't see anything about it here:

Getting extremely bad anxiety right now regarding this photo. Can I just have my gf take one on my iPhone and upload it? And then what in the world am I printing out?

I heard that as long as the background is white, you can use a picture that someone takes of you on your phone. I just scanned a passport size picture and uploaded it to my account. You print out your admissions ticket which has the pic on it. Mine came out ok when I printed it so hopefully all goes well on game day.

I printed mine out too. I hope the testing center staff understands that my printer isn't perfect and therefore made my photo appear slightly grainy compared to what was uploaded. There goes that unnecessary anxiety again~

UGH! Damnit this scares me. The LSAC site is so ambiguous with the requirements. Idk why they can't check and make sure the photos you submit are acceptable. And as far as printing, hopefully mine will print alright.

Mine came out a bit grainy as well but you can tell that it is me. On the surface, I feel like it'll be fine but on the inside I am worried that I'll get fucked. Lmao.
Benjaye, yours is black and white right?

This whole thread is making me anxious. I still don't understand where people are seeing that the background has to be white/all one color? On LSAC website it just says it has to be "clear" and not obstruct identity or something.
A bit worried now because there's a door behind me in my photo :/

OMG I didn't even consider color! On the LSAC the examples they give are colored IIRC. Oh lord I just want to get through this haha
