Unless its your 3rd, I say let it ride. The guy from blueprint (the founder) thought he got like a 150 and was going to cancel but decided to let it ride and got a 180 FYI. If something like this happened to me, I'd obviously be ecstatic, but I'd also deeply question my capacity for introspection. lmao.Greenteachurro wrote:Unless its your 3rd, I say let it ride. starlings, carbon (feel lost here), dining services, biology, cat food, iguanas, t rex, car sales.
I had 3 LR sections though. I'm not sure which of those are real.

Ugh I'm suffering from that right now, I remember my answers and even the letter I picked for the questions that I'm iffy about pretty vividly. Which is making for intense self-doubt.cherrygalore wrote:I can only remember like 4 and I don't want to recall more for fear of overthinking my answers.BamBam2772 wrote:Am I the only one that cannot remember any of the LR questions? Does it count as a take if it's your 3rd and you cancel?Greenteachurro wrote:Unless its your 3rd, I say let it ride. Yeah it counts as a take unfortunately, that goes for any test you cancel. It was my 3rd take and I'm fairly certain I scored lower so in a really tough spot here.kinglew wrote:Does it count as a take if it's your 3rd and you cancel?Greenteachurro wrote:Unless its your 3rd, I say let it ride. You might surprise yourself and get a good score. I think it's only really needed to cancel for certain situations like leaving before the test is done, getting sick mid test, or misbubbling an entire section, etc.StopLawying wrote:Yeah it counts as a take unfortunately, that goes for any test you cancel. I say ride it out, schools only care about the highest so even if you do worse, it won't matter much.

Thanks, I know everyone says schools only care about your highest score but it's really hard for me to believe that a lower score on a retake doesn't affect someone in any way. It's one thing to score poorly on an initial take and then get a higher score, but getting a lower score on a retake I think would have some type of effect, no?Mikey wrote:You might surprise yourself and get a good score. To my knowledge, it won't. There's been people on here that I've seen this happen to and things ended up fine for them, but of course this is only anecdotal.StopLawying wrote: Thanks, I know everyone says schools only care about your highest score but it's really hard for me to believe that a lower score on a retake doesn't affect someone in any way. I mean I just don't think it matters that much like why would it be? Right, because they want to either maintain or increase their numbers, so if your highest take is in their numbers then why would they care unless they're like YHS?StopLawying wrote:Thanks, I know everyone says schools only care about your highest score but it's really hard for me to believe that a lower score on a retake doesn't affect someone in any way. According to H's site, they only take your highest number. I'm not sure what the numbers actually show/reveal though.Greenteachurro wrote:I mean I just don't think it matters that much like why would it be? I went on a random number generator for 1-180 and the first number that popped up was a 170, I'm taking that as a sign.theboringest wrote:I'm also playing around with a 5-sided dice simulator to see how often I can guess >2 correctly and justify my delusions that I got a decent number of Buildings right...I may have a problem.

Unless, I got hit by a trap answer ( which is totally possible) I didn't think cat food was that difficult, wasn't it just a straight up formal logic question?theboringest wrote:This is an accurate representation of my current attitude, interspersed with the occasional mutterings of "fuck cat food"Pozzo wrote:Me rn at work:

I had to stop and think a little bit about the cat food question, but left it thinking I reasoned through it properly. T-rex felt so easy, now that people are saying they had trouble with it, I'm thinking I may have fallen for a trap answer.

The more I read about people catching the inferences in the painting game, the more nervous I get. I thought I brute forced it fine since I didn't get one, but I'm nervous I messed the whole thing up now.
