WR critique request

Post by YinFireHare » Sat Dec 05, 2015 8:27 pm

Would anyone be interesting in helping to critique my writing sample (from June 2007 exam) ?

no. nobody needs to critique your writing sample. You don't need to critique your writing sample. you don't need to spend time polishing your writing sample. Put coherent words/arguments on the page and you're fine. Get a 180 and you're golden.

I think I bombed the WR lol. I was tired and exhausted, so I merely wrote a few very illogical paragraphs. It has a beginning, several very lame arguments and conclusion and it fills the entire sheet, but it's totally bullshit compared with my GRE analytical writing I did a few years ago.

It concerns me that schools get a copy.

^ I get tired and exhausted by the end too.

Highly doubt they look at it.

I believe they only take a look and see if you're taking the unscored section seriously (e.g. don't draw pictures, don't leave it blank, don't write anything about pro-terrorism) and you can write coherent sentences. I have really terrible handwriting

Pretty sure the main utility is for LSAC to use in cheating investigations to compare handwriting.

Never thought of that. That would make sense!
