I missed the LSAT registration deadline. I am freaking out. If I cannot sign up for LSAT, then I have to wait another year to apply to law school :( please help

I always wait to do everything at the last minute. I need to change my habits :/

Maybe I subconsciously do not want to go to law school anymore.

Rant over haha

Do something worthwhile with your extra year of life and set a Google alarm.

Why can't you take the February LSAT and apply then? Granted, it's not ideal, given how late in the cycle you'd be submitting; you're definitely better off waiting to apply next year. But if you're set on applying this cycle a lot of schools will take a Feb score.

If you procrastinate that much you have to reconsider law school.

In fact I can't think of many job options that are tolerant to procrastination.

Op: I reviewed your previous posts and see that you took the Oct LSAT (160, reportedly low GPA, 2 years of WE) and you posted several times in the December thread to report your PT scores, etc.

The safest thing would have been to register for Dec LSAT first then start studying, but I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you.

Do you like your current job? Will you be okay working there for an extra year? If not, I would register and study for the Feb LSAT and apply this cycle. That is, if you're still seriously considering attending law school. On a brighter side, you said you want 170+ and it's not likely that you would make that jump in 1.5 months so I'd say Feb is good. Hope that helps!

That test date is too late for the schools I am considering. I might as well apply for the cycle after. Thank you for the advice. I am not set on going next year.

Thank you for reviewing my posts. I started a new job in October and so far I am liking it very much. I would not mind being here another year or two. Thank you so much!

I hear that you can pay some extra bucks and take December one. Is that something called "late registration fee"?

I mean, not to sound condescending, but procrastinating to the extent that you will now have to postpone your law school plans by an entire year is a pretty decent fuck up. If you can't handle the amount of personal responsibility required to simply sign up for a test, then you definitely should consider whether law school is right for you. Your entire grade is based on one test at the end of the semester. Sounds like a recipe for disaster for someone who procrastinates to this degree.

Harsh love.

Thanks though. No sugarcoating.

I think I will go start studying for the GRE now

maybe just reconsider habits, which it seems like OP is already doing. no need to reconsider law school.

The obvious answer is to register to take the Dec test in New Zealand, but do not delay, time is running out.
