Space for hypotheticals

I'm just getting into the logic games and struggling a little bit for room on some of the questions. I find myself doing a lot of hypotheticals on some of the local questions and it's getting messy and hard to read. I think this will improve as I get better and make more inferences, but I was wondering if there is usable space on test day to use the back of the pages. For example, if the test is in a booklet, is there space on the left page when its open or is it printed back to back? I assume there's not since my guide says to do it beside the question, but thought it doesn't hurt to ask...

The newer tests (~60+) put each logic game on two pages, giving you a ridiculous amount of space. I actually prefer the old one page format.

Yeah the new ones have 2 pages, so more room. A drawback is that your master diagram is on the opposite page of some of the questions and harder to look back and forth at it and the question.

But to answer the other part of your question, there is no scratch paper or anything.
