Sometimes after I PT, I take a break and typically I review games since it is the least daunting for me, but after that reviewing the other stuff within the same day is pretty tough.

How's everyone else managing?

PT in the morning (830/9- noonish). Take a break in the afternoon. Get down to blind review around 2-3. Finish around 6:30-7. I used to have time to review BR answers, watch LG video explanations & such...but lately with the sun setting earlier each day, I have felt less compelled to. I normally triple check my answers and watch LG solution videos the next day before I start drilling.

Wow you really make me evaluate how "well" and "hard" I do not study. After a PT I usually don't review till the next day. I am so exhausted from doing the actual test and being a good girl and sitting through it entirely that I can't fathom reviewing until tomorrow. I guess the more PT I take the more adjusted I'd become....

I did this during my first LSAT take, but it is not the best thing to do, IMO.

For me, I think it is important to do the BR as close to the actual test as possible, which is why I do it only a few hours later. I think this is important because you want to have the questions still be imprinted in your mind when you BR. This is important because then you will be able to realize why you chose (for example) incorrect answer choice C as opposed to the correct choice and/or why you initially eliminated the correct choice under timed conditions, if applicable. This comparison will allow you to change your thought process. The blind review is the most important part of Prep IMO. Watching video solutions and comparing my answer choices with the real ones could wait until the next day & usually does for me.

Yes, thanks. It did help to clarify. I haven't BR'd yet. I only took my initial prep test two weeks ago. How often do you PT and how early in your prep did you hit the ground running PT wise? For an example, at what stage of your prep did you start to PT often (1-2 a week)?

I took June '14 & June '15 so Oct '15 will be my third take. I am a unique case. It depends on how firm of an understanding you have with the fundamental concepts (argument structure: Flaws, Premises, Conclusion, etc; Games: game types, diagramming, inferences; RC: passage types, viewpoints, structure, etc.).

The first two times, I started doing full PTs around 1 month into my prep so that I had a full 2 months of time to devote to building the endurance necessary to get through 4 scores sections (+1 experimental) by test day. This time, I have pretty much been doing prep tests since Early July.

What I would recommend, if this is your first take, first you build understanding of the core concepts of each section (see above). Next, start doing timed sections and slowly build up to entire 4 section prep tests. By the time that you are able to do a full prep test, start doing one every second day & BR it as I explained above (Mon, Wed & Fri worked well for me). Every other day (Tues, Thurs & Sat) you should be drilling question types that you are having trouble with. Take advantage of these days to work on weaknesses and review heavily. Use the free 7 sage LSAT analytics to keep track of your weak question types. Always take the 7th day of each week off to just relax from LSAT, maybe work on your personal statement or something.

This should all take 3-4 months:

- 1/2 - 1 month for building understanding of everything. This can be done with a prep course or just by reading a series of prep book like the Powerscore Bibles
- 1/2- 1 month of build endurance by doing timed sections & review
- 2+ months of full timed PTs with BR, & Drilling on days in between.
