Delay the test.
If you're still PTing in the mid 160s then frankly you probably aren't that close to tossing a 170 on game day. 6 weeks isn't a ton of time for that kind of improvement. Take the position, and take your own sweet time preparing for the lsat, so that you're in the best position possible to post a high score.

I concur with the above advice. It seems like pushing the test back may have already been the best strategy and the job isa bonus.
The test and law school will still be here later. You could even take the test in June and just apply next cycle.
Good luck with your decision!

Because you are unsure of the duties & length of the temporary position, it might be better to continue studying for the LSAT since you are progressing so well.
Nevertheless, any work experience should be helpful in your development. So, in short, no wrong choice here.

Why not take the job and keep studying for the LSAT? If you want to be an attorney, you better learn how to multi task.

Thanks for the help, all! I've decided to delay the LSAT and accept the job offer as well. I'm not a fan of working full-time in addition to studying, but being 3 months out from the Dec test, I'll make it work!
