sleep is overrated and its gonna get worse. The LSAT is the most sleep-friendly part of your life for the next 40 years or so.

What time do you usually go to bed&wake up?
Sometimes I take nap but only about 20 min. Just set a timer
I heard if you take a nap too long, it can affect your sleep at night.

Re: How long do you sleep everyday?
I'd like to echo this and add "no studying at least an hour before your bedtime". If you study up until bedtime, your brain is likely still running on full gears and can disrupt your ability to go to sleep. I would also add "pleasure reading" to the list. It is best (for me) to lay in bed about an hour before my "bed time" and start reading until I get tired. That will get you in a more calm state (unless you are reading a super intense psychological thriller or something) and allow your body and brain to slow down the functions unnecessary for reading. Make sure you have softer lights in your room/house turned on before bed because LEDs and other bright lightbulbs can have the same effect as backlit screens. But I think setting your circadian rhythm and sticking with a bed time/morning schedule will help the most.doublehoohopeful wrote:

Try meditation or mindfulness exercises
No caffeine after noon
No devices with backlit screens within an hour or two of bedtime
Use your bed for sleep and sex only
Have a cool, quiet, and dark bedroom with clean sheets
Set regular times for waking up and getting into bed and follow that schedule even if you are exhausted
Limit naps (or try to get rid of them)

Re: How long do you sleep everyday?
are you wanting to sleep more because you feel tired and not able to function during the day? since you didnt mention anything like that. if you can function ok with 4 hours of sleep then just sleep 4 hours. more productive hours of the day for you.

Re: How long do you sleep everyday?
I think I want to sleep more, because 2 or 3 hours later I'll become sleepy and cannot study well...I'm afraid the same happens on the test day.
But now I guess I worry too much and that's why I cannot sleep longer...but thanks for the advice, I'm sleeping for 5-6 hours now.
