LG Bible again or Practice LGs?

I'm just about done with the powerscore LG Bible. I am planning on taking the lsat September/October of 2016 so I have time but don't want to be doing too much prep during the semester, as I want to focus on GPA. I'm planning on getting through the powerscore LR bible this summer too and will do practice LG and LR over the academic year to stay sharp.
I read TLS1776's blurb about how he prepped (
http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 6&t=120471) and he did the LG bible twice. I feel like that might just be a waste, and thought I should just start taking practice LG with the explanations from powerscore. Any thoughts?

Did you mean October 2015? You might be a bit early if you're studying over a year away.

Studying for LG over a year in advance is a waste of time because it doesn't take that long to improve and people seem to lose LG ability very quickly once they stop drilling. If you spend 100 hours on LG now and then ignore it during the academic year, you will have just wasted 100 hours.
