Makeshift Cambridge LR Drilling?

I have the PTs that the drill sets cover, so I was hoping I could simply refer to another thread I found on here that generally lays out all the specific LR questions by type/category. Would it be effective enough to go through those questions in a random order or should I really stick to what Cambridge has to offer? From my understanding, Cambridge divides the questions by level of difficulty. Is this necessary to take into consideration if, theoretically, I will be going through all of the questions anyway, albeit in a different order?
Also, how do people tend to tackle the questions in the drill sets? Do they create their own 25-question sections based on a predetermined proportion of level 1 to level 4 questions? Do they go in order from level 1 to 4? Do they do 5 questions at a time? Does everyone pretty much have their own strategy?
