Which section to study first

Post by Lad » Sat Apr 25, 2015 10:44 pm

So I have just finished final exams and I am going to take a break for a week or so before I begin studying for the LSAT. For study materials I have:

- Cambridge packets
- The LSAT Trainer
- Manhattan LR bible
- Powerscore LG bible

I am wondering if any high LSAT scorers can suggest to me which section should I study first? I am inclined to begin with LR since it is half of the test but i've been told by some that it is best to start with LG. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By and large, it doesn't matter. This will come down to personal preferences.

I have always believed that it's best to do at least LR and LG in parallel rather than focus on one at a time. Switching gears between the two thought processes is something that you're going to have to do on test day anyway.

And honestly, after some really intense work on LR, it's a bit of a relief to go hack away at some games (and vice versa).
