Was wondering when this would appear.

I may or may not show up here later, depending on how June goes.

Checking in. Aiming for a 180 in October, even though I am waiting for Feb's score at the moment. Third and final shot! Making it count.

This will be my 3rd and final take as well. To those who took in Feb, hope you get the score you want/need.

As far as studying, I haven't really done anything since my last test other than reading The Economist and The Atlantic daily.
But I want to take it from the top and I have already printed out Cambridge packets for 1-38 and will probably get back into actual studying material tomorrow. With a little over 7 months to go, going to do a little bit each day.

When is everyone starting to study again? I think I need an extended break from studying on and off for a year.
Checking in. Just checked in with the June thread, but planning on taking it in October lol. Just want to be as active as possible so that I don't get distracted like I did the first time around.

I think I'm just going to start studying now. Instead of cramming like I did before, I want to take it slow and allow myself to have sufficient sleep + time to really take in the information.

Figured I would check in here since my February score ended up being a disappointment. I don't think I've ever been more depressed in my life. It's probably normal to go through that after getting an average score but damn does it suck. I was counting on going to law school this year but now I feel like my chances are slim. Anyways, hi everyone! Can't wait to start preparing (or in my case re-preparing) with you guys. February was my first time taking the LSAT. Let's hope second times the charm!!!!!

Checking In. I am so nervous. Is anyone taking a prep course?

Checking in, I am also a third time (possible) taker (waiting to hear back from some schools). I took Dec2014 (159) and Feb2015 (164).

I used the 7sage online course (along with my Manhattan prep books). Many people seem to like the 7sage course because you can move at your own pace (its just several videos you need to watch + drills).

I am not really sure what to do about prep either. When I prepped for my Dec I used powersscore then a testmasters class and for Feb I just took a lot of tests and practice on 7SAGE. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know which prep course to go with either. I'm deciding between powerscore, blueprint, and 7Sage. Someone help! Need to know what you guys think about any of those 3. Thanks :D

I used 7sage to supplement manhattan prep books.

Some things about 7sage.
-cheap (since I was already using the prep books I opted for the $179 starter class).
-i liked that it was online videos so I can rewatch to reinforce concepts. (but this applies to any of the other companies that have online access)
-JY Ping (instructor) is a good teacher and a funny dude.

But keep in mind this was more of a self study route with me carefully going through the Manhattan prep books, and only using 7sage as a supplement. Blueprint, Powerscore and even 7sage have more comprehensive courses with a lot more materials/tools. Hopefully some others can give you a better idea of these more complete courses.

BTW if anyone is going for the self study route, Cambridge has a pretty good bundle worth $280 where you get all material from PT 1-70 (1-38 is categorized by type, 38-70 are full tests). NOTE: you might not want to get this if you are doing a complete course because I think the companies provide you with many of the tests.

I heard powerscore and blueprint are very similar, in terms of the structure. But for me personally , the reason why i'm leaning towards Testmasters is because the schedule of the course works better for me.But both overlap a lot (so i heard) lol

I feel like even with all the advice on which prep company is better or more useful I'm still confused and can't decide what to do. Good thing the october LSAT isn't for another 7 months. I used the LSAT trainer for when I took the test in February but unfortunately it didn't help me as much as I was hoping it would.

Honestly, I'd just go with the one with the best refund policy. I'm risk-adverse like that. Have you worked through the Manhattan books yet?

ETA: That's if I were doing a course. I'm a big fan of self-study. You've 7 months to go, I'd give the far cheaper option a go first.
