What's your favorite section of the LSAT, and why?

1.Mine is RC.

2. I love the fact that you have to condense paragraphs of information down to basically a few big ideas, and then go from there.

why RC? I hate it. The content of the passages often is inaccurate, and it's written in a way to make each simple point as wordy and convoluted as possible, hallmarks of bad writing.

I like the challenge of it, like I said you have to look for broad concepts, and then figure out how each question falls within the scope of those ideas. As far as the content is concerned, I don't know much about the complex information to begin with so that part doesn't really bother me. Finally, even though it's different, I've always had a good relationship with RC lol.

LG.
I also like it because it's the only section I can gauge how I did. I can feel confident with RC or LR and then score poorly on them and vice versa.

I hated RC by far the most. I got more wrong on RC than the rest of the sections combined, both on many PTs and on the real exam.

LG always felt like a breath of fresh air, like I was taking a break from the actual test.

Only section where nothing is debatable. There's often one RC or LR q per test that is poorly written or bad.
There are a lot of dumb LG questions with cop out answers. For example where they have rules saying A > B and B > C, then have a rule change question looking for a similar affect and have a choice that says, "C must < than A and B," it's pretty clear that the writer is burnt out and needs a vacation. This is a pretty common pattern on many of the tests, and IDK if it's just the same writer responsible for it. But it's lazy.

having tutored i highly doubt those in this range can comprehend the impact facts have on another well enough to get it. i think it's more having a geniuses who are normal enough to work in an office but only getting paid 60k a year being lazy. it's not their fault.

LR 1 and 2. I did debate for 7 years, so it sort of just came naturally. Usually go between -0 and -3.
