Question about hand scoring

I'd like to to have my December LSAT hand scored. I am aware that once you get your regular score back, you can request hand scoring for a fee (I think it was 40 dollars the last I checked). However, since I'm pretty sure I'm going to request hand scoring no matter what, can I just request it now rather than wait? That way, I'd be able to send applications earlier. I was told that any issues with the test had to be reported within 6 days- which would be tomorrow. I don't know if a request of hand scoring counts as an issue, but I would like to be able to request it at some point before I get my regular score back. If that's at all possible. The administrator of my test had no idea if it is.

It appears as though you have to wait until you receive your score back because they tell you to send in your score report + letter request. Must be done within 60 days of test date. http://www.lsac.org/jd/lsat/handscoring

Just curious - why are you sure you want your scrantron hand scored?
