Hello All,

I bombed the LG section, didn't comprehend the third game. This was my first time taking the actual thing.

I'm wondering what the benefits for cancelling an LSAT score are. As far as I can tell, most schools look at your top LSAT score, no?

And btw, I'm not applying this cycle.

I still genuinely don't understand what the point of a cancel would be.

If, for instance, you mis-bubbled (or failed to finish a section etc, etc) and ended up with like 150 instead of a 170, why would the 150 matter in an application cycle where almost all schools don't average? So long as you got the 170 on attempt #2 and wrote an addendum regarding the bubbling error, wouldn't that be enough? And if you're only 90% sure you made the bubbling error, wouldn't it be worth the risk of seeing what you got rather than wasting one of your three attempts with a "C" instead of a real score?

This is a question, not a position on cancelling that I'm advocating.
