Lovepink,

I can answer your question solely based off of what mine looks like though I do recommend calling LSAC if you have any questions. It appears that he wrote the wrong number into the "test form" box. It is supposed to be a different number from the one that he bubbled into the test serial book #. The number that he was supposed to write in the test form box should have matched the number number that you see directly under the disclosure book section on LSAC.

I don't imagine this mistake would have impacted his score though. LSAC probably picked up on his mistake because the numbers aren't supposed to be the same and this has probably happened to people before. I could see this happening due to nerves on test day and he probably just didn't notice he was looking at the wrong portion of the test booklet to find the form #.

Again, if you are concerned this could have caused any problems with his scoring I would not hesitate to call LSAC.

Hope this helps.

ETA: scooped by Rigo. I agree with him.

Can someone give me some sort of encouragement.. 157 from mostly 161's PT's which I guess isn't really that crazy of a drop but I had one of my worst RC performances ever and a bit of a melt down on GAME FUCKING ONE of the LG section because of nerves (my first section). Literally couldn't draw out the rules for 3-4 minutes, keep in mind this was a simple sequencing game. Ended up getting first three questions wrong of that game lol.

The prospect of studying again with a full course load semester coming at me is so daunting. I don't even think I can truly study for it this semester, will try to keep the rust somewhat off until graduation in April.

Someone tell me everything is going to be OK.....

Thanks sooooooooo much! I sent them an email, as per the instructions given. There's a number to contact them?!

@Rigo and Yeezus- He took wayyy more than 10 practice tests. Just 10+ that I, myself, proctored and his PS course. I''m a teacher so proctoring is something I do pretty darn often. His lowest PT score was 147, which was what he took cold turkey without prepping. After prep, he was averaging a lot higher (I believe 158ish). His score was in the 120s

Everything is going to be okay :)
I score -6 from my highest PT, and just under my comfort zone for the school I'm applying to so a re-write is inevitable.
I work full-time as well as manage a full-time course load. I'm going to re-write in the fall, and start getting back on the horse in a couple of weeks. Take is slow and easy for your last term then go hard in the summer for your next write :)
It's going to suck, but at the end of the day it's going to be worth it.

I thought I read somewhere that you're from Canada? If I'm right, where are you gunning for? (I'm Canadian too)

man it was such a bad meltdown. I needed 5 more questions for my goal of 160 .. so crappy. I have no excuse for my RC performance, but I know I never do THAT badly.

You too! Keep your name in the hat for your choices, they may just take you with a 158 :)

thanks, not banking on it, but Ontario applications are already submitted so I've gotta just wait now anyhow

They used to be, but they changed it up about two years ago. Now the PS and softs actually count a LOT. It's super holistic.

Hmm thats interesting. I had a prof look at my PS before submitted and she said it was pretty strong. I feel like Queens will reject me right away but we will see.

yo Flash, I'll be retaking as well for the third fuckn time... I was PTING high 160s (169/170), ended up with a 160. I went -7 on LG and -8 on RC sooo were almost on the same boat. Don't be discouraged homes it will all work out at the end

Ontario law school applicant here. While the LSAT is not as highly valued in Canada as it is in the U.S., you still need a 160+ to be competitive. Getting into U of T with a 158 is definitely not the norm, even with their new policy. I spoke with the dean of admissions on a few occasions and although they are attempting to increase the diversity of their class, they still want to maintain their academic standards- median GPA of 3.8 and 167 LSAT score.

why dont you just sit the cycle out? Are you talking about Texas or Tennessee? Because even with a 161 you probably wouldnt get in to texas

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
