I was going to re take the Sept LSAT (Took june with a 165) but I ended up getting the flu and decided to retake it in Dec (I also decided to stay away from TLS for a while as just reading posts added to my stress). Anyways I haven't looked at the test yet, and not 100% sure if I'll get to it. (I'll probably at least purchase it for the games) Anyways did they they continue throwing in curve balls with strange games? LR as difficult as last junes??

The TLS gist after test day was "I think I did pretty well! On par with my PT averages!"

Score release date: "OMFG, dropped 5-10 points from PT avg!"

Disclaimer: I have not taken PT 73 nor PT'd it yet.

Well sort of glad didn't use my 3rd take on it. Curve??

I believe it was a -12. But really, I guess PT 73 follows from other more "recent" PT's in that answer choices have certainly gotten a lot trickier and thus more tempting. In addition, people reported LG's to be more brute-forcing rather than game-breaking inferences as in older PT's.

There were no simple games, but definitely no curve balls. All were either average or above average. Nothing eye opening. -12 curve

This made me laugh, yes, this is what I and many other people thought.

If you are going to take any PTs from now till test day, then def take PT 73 and 72. You'd be doing yourself a major disservice not to. I got a 177 on the Sept test. Wasn't that bad.

LR (especially LR2) was more reliant on eliminating than most, games were pretty standard. I walked out neurotically obsessing over the fact that it felt TOO easy, to the point where I was finished RC (not that I didn't review or anything) about 15 minutes early, which was unheard of for me. I did drop 4 points from the PT average, but to be fair I didn't really expect to get a 177 on test day.

Really the take away is that some of the LR are really tricky, I spent the month debating over and over the buried mace and fertilizer/crop rotation questions (do not know the numbers, sorry) with a friend and we never came to a consensus on which of us was right until it got released.

The general consensus is that the Sept test, unlike the June test, did not include any inordinately difficult games.

Pure speculation, but I'd say it is unlikely for there to be a June-test level game on the December administration. Typically they're few and far between -- farther than just two administrations. Also worth bearing in mind that such games should not, in theory, hurt your score. Rather, they'll just shift the curve.
