Hey guys,

basically what the title says. I'm scared of test day drop making me get a 150 something, I really need a 160 for the schools I'd like to get into. Anyone got opinions?

As a victim of the legendary 5 point test day drop, I would say that if you need a 160, make sure you're consistently PTing at least 165.

We still have a good 4.5 weeks left. Keep PT'ing + review and if you're still not hitting your target range (probably 163+ in case of test day nerves) the week before or week of, I'd consider postponing.

Green Tree's advise is solid.

You should plan on at least a three point drop, it's very common. The rule, almost (allowing, of course, for exceptions). 165 is a good target score.

A couple things to help you get there:

1. Be really hard on yourself RE timing on PTs. I think this is where most inflated scores come from: on PTs people finish the problem when the timer goes off in a way they wouldn't be able to on the real LSAT.

2. Take a couple ~untimed test. Take them with a sense of urgency but remove time as a factor. If you're not scoring at least at your target when you're untimed, that means you have some fundamentals that need reviewing.

Best,
