What kind of moronic advice is this? OP is supposed to write to CLS and ask them whether he should retake? "Hi, please review my file, and tell me whether you'll admit me with my current LSAT score, or if you instead want me to retake". Yeah, that'll go over great. My suggestion would be to directly ask Admissions at CLS. Write a relatively brief, formal email and they'll get back to you. I doubt that it will be a problem.
