Grouping games help

I've been using Powerscore for a long time for LG and pretty much nail Linear Games of both subtypes. Sometimes I mess up, but I can see clear improvement in my timing, scores and consistency.

As for "Grouping Games" I struggle to see large similarities between the types of games PS presents. I will do a game, review, repeat, review, repeat and feel like I am learning concepts, but then I feel like I try a new game and it seems very different conceptually despite matching PS category and subcategories. I think I need another resource because this isn't working. Any advice? I am specifically trying to find help with what PS calls Grouping: Defined Fixed and Grouping: Defined Moving. The undefined and partially defined don't seem to be a problem. Thanks a lot.

Don't get hung up on subtleties like the precise classification of a game type beyond Sequencing/Grouping and Unbalanced/Balanced.

Over-specification is part of the reason I switched from powerscore to 7sage.

Check out the Blueprint LG book. I started off with the LG Bible like many people out there and just found it too technical. I think it's a waste of time and effort to try and learn so many categories and subcategories. Especially for LG, you essentially just have Ordering, Grouping, Combo, or neither.
