Retake Advice-Interested in Public Interest Law

Hi all.
PT avg of 172 on last 5 PTS, 169 PT avg including all 25 PTs. I was really happy with these scores since I was shooting for lower T14. GPA is a 3.75.
I scored a 164. I know this isn't atypical, judging by other posts. And I know the obvious advice is to retake. But I'm interested in PI. NGO non-profits preferably or MAYBE public defense. There seems to be a mixed message on how much school rank matters in PI, so my question is: should I retake and try for GULC, Berk and the likes? Or should I take UNC (I'm in-state and lucky enough to be able to pay their tuition debt-free) and just go on to PI life?
