Cold Diagnostic

Took my first practice LSAT. Completely blind, no studying, never looked at a test, or test questions before. I got a 150. Does this indicate anything? I've heard some places that the absolute most I could go up from this is about 20 points. I believe I took the December 2009 LSAT if that helps anything.

Could having the natural ability at getting a 150 make it possible that I'm capable of greater than 170.

BS.

My diagnostic was a 136 in July. I just scored a 159 yesterday.

its all about the amount of work you put into it... it may be a struggle to get to 159+ but if you dedicate your time and focus and manage your time properly you'll be fine

150 is a great diagnostic score

put in the work and you'll be fine with respect to scoring over 170

I did the worst (by far) on the logic games, which I hope will be the easiest to improve.

Yeah, you'll see the best improvement in LG.

Pick up the LG Bible or Blueprint LG book.
Cambridge Packet for LG's and drill, drill, drill.

When I was in the beginning stages of LSAT studying, I too was nervous about the 20 point "ceiling". I thought to myself that a 156 was the highest I could possibly achieve. Just be prepared to put in serious time into this. I'm taking it in December and studying full-time until then.
