Parallel Questions

These questions are by far my biggest weakness on LR. Even when I get them right, they're often a huge time sink.

Does anyone have a strategy they use for these questions? I know diagramming the stimulus/answer choices in logical notation is the best way to guarantee the right answer, but I find this tends to take way too long, especially in Parallel Flaw Except (and similar) questions.

They are generally longer questions because it's all arguments for answer choices. I used to map the form of the argument in my head - this will exactly match the answer choice. Sorry if this was vague, I took the LSAT 6 months ago and have done all I can to forget that fun little quiz.
