my friend is planning on taking the Dec LSAT for a joint JD/Phd program and hasn't studied much for the exam but still wants to take in in Dec

She needs a 158.....should I recommend her reading any of the study guides such as MLSAT or PowerScore or should I tell her to drill and PT at this point?

I have no clue since two months is such a short time period to study for the exam....it maybe too short to do both read the prep books and PT

Specifically, I think the LSAT Trainer would be a great place to start. Mike (the author) posts detailed schedules (including, I believe, a 8-week variant) on his website -- http://www.thelsattrainer.com -- and the book can be purchased on Amazon (Prime).
Second. Also, you can also add Manhattan LR along with the Trainer. Mike used to work with Manhattan so the teaching style of the two are similar. Good luck to your friend.
