Took all PTs. Retaking December. Advice?

As the title says, I've taken all PTs save for one (June 2006) thinking I would take and excel on the September 2014 LSAT. I know I didn't perform well so I've already decided to cancel and retake it in December.

Does anyone have any advice on how I should structure my studying/ what I should do now that I've run out of PTs? I've also memorized and thoroughly rationalized through the answer choices for most PTs so I'm at a bit of a loss.

You've taken all ~73 PTs? That is impressive.

I would go through and generate a list of every single problem you've ever got wrong, and then review to ensure that you never make that same mistake again.

Best luck,

Thank you to both Brut and BP Robert!

I will do as you both suggested.

I like this advice - plus you can retake tests that you took longest ago - maybe reduce the time by a few minutes to compensate?

What does someone who has memorized 70 practice tests worth of answers average on said practice tests?

Just wanted to post and say that, unless you mean that you ACTUALLY MEMORIZED the answers to most questions from most PTs, you may not actually remember as much as you think you might. I find that going back over questions that I missed previously helps me a lot.

Check out this advice from TLS legend EarlCat on how reusing PTs will not hurt you:

I just think before people give him tips on how to improve at the margin, the OP needs to give us what he PT's to see if he's actually internalized the pattern recognition aspect of LSAT prep before getting into the nitty gritty of how to improve reading speed, or whatever tips you super-scorers have.

Woww, I'm overwhelmed and grateful for all the replies!

EarlCat's tips about reusing PTs has definitely been helpful and encouraging, and mornincounselor's tips about doing the individual question timed PTs definitely sound like they're worth trying. One concern I have though is: there are always a couple of LR stimuli that I simply do not understand - sometimes because of the dense language, and sometimes because it's about a topic, say economics or science, that I just cannot spot a gap in. These questions are what make me nervous about the LR because I feel as though I can't quite prep for them. Thoughts? (I'm reading the Economist but the Economist seems easier than some stimuli..)

I had a journal where I kept track of the most difficult LR questions, analyzed the answer choices, and reviewed them from time to time. But given I have more time now, I'm thinking of doing that with LR questions of medium level difficulty. I have not used Cambridge prep materials at all- are they worth the money? I have so far relied mostly on Powerscore, 7Sage, Manhattan materials.

The LG I believe is my strong suit. Ironically, I began with the LG as my weakest and RC as my strongest but the two have switched. I like the Manhattan RC method but it doesn't seem to be enough even when I understand the topic and focus. I miss the "author would agree with" and "parallel" questions on RC the most.

I wasn't strategic with saving my PTs and just burned through them when I wasn't studying seriously- thus my current dilemma. For anyone just starting to study reading this, please don't make my mistake!!
