Not Fully Bubbling in Answers

Hopefully someone on here has experience with this.
I wasn't able to fully darken and completely bubble in my answers on the scantron, there's a mark inside the circles and (hopefully I'm explaining this correctly) when I flipped my answer sheet over the ridges of the circles showed up and such) but I am insanely worried the machine won't be able to read them - anyone have any insight? I'm honestly to scared to even hear the answer but I feel that if anyone would know it would be on here. Also, is it possible to get the scantron hand scored? Or is that a feature LSAC doesn't allow/offer?
Thank you!

LSAC does hand-scoring for an extra fee.

Doesn't it delay your score, though?

It probably depends on when you request it. A lot of people request hand scoring after the test has already been graded by machine and uploaded to LSAC. In those cases, it would delay your "real" score.

I'm still unclear about exactly what OP did. Whether she filled in the bubble completed and it was just a light pencil or whether there's just a little mark and the bubbling isn't completely filled in.
Does what you did match any of these?

OP, when you get your score back, you'll also get a score report that shows you what you answered for every question and what the correct answer was for every question. I'd wait and see if you have any "no answers" on that report then request hand scoring if so.

Hand scoring was made specifically for erasing errors, I expect.
Once you get your score back, carefully examine the scanned copy of your answer sheet on LSAC and then determine if a mistake was made on the Scranton machine's part.

Yeah and It was the last 6 questions of LG, so I'll know where to look. I mean it was really only the faintest of marks left behind, so I'm probably just being dumb.
You're just being dumb. The scantrons are not nearly as sensitive to imperfectly erased marks as they tell you.
OP, on the other hand, may have a problem. But that's why there's hand scoring.

I'm glad this was brought up, I felt fairly confident about yesterday when I realized I bubbled one extra question on the scantron for the LG section. Will this effect the scoring of that section? If it shows my answers were out of whack could I get a hand count score? Hopefully this makes sense; what happened is the final five minutes were called and I marked the rest of my answers left which ended up begin 24 as well.

I highly doubt this will affect anything so sleep soundly.

It won't if you bubbled in the last question twice - if you somehow got 24 qs on a 23 q section, and you're not sure how, that would be bad.
Yeah. There's not a chance you skipped a question but didn't skip a line on your bubble sheet, right?
Sometimes I mess that up if I skip a parallel question in LR.

Thank you guys for all the answers! I calmed down a bit after the exam and did some research, having confirmation that I can get the exam hand scored is a big stress reliever! The chart with bubbling examples however, is slightly freaking me out again because some of my answers fall under the probably not valid bubble - that's just in terms of the machine being able to read it right? Not that I did or didn't have an answer if it's hand scored?
God I hate this, it's like the LSAT has one goal and that's to make me feel like a total idiot.

Yeah it there was no chance that happened, so I think I'll be alright then.

I bolded the relevant parts.

I also know of a case where a test taker did not fill in several bubbles in a row completely (or at least not enough to satisfy the scanning machine. She had panicked when she checked how much time was left in the section and what question # she was on). There were also tons of questions in other sections where she barely filled in much of the oval but got the points, I'd have to find the file on my computer and look at it again, but I don't remember there being more than a few ovals completely filled in any of the four sections. LSAC was kind enough to give her some of the points where the intended answer choice was clear but with less than 50% of the bubble filled in, but they did not give her the points for the ones where she had just made a small dot in the center of the oval. She emailed me her answer sheet in a panic when scores were released asking what to do so I saw the bubbles in question before telling her she had nothing to lose but the fee and possibly also some points by requesting hand scoring due to her poor bubbling performance. With all of the questions she failed to adequately fill in the oval and was originally not given credit for, she had selected the credited response, just hadn't filled in the ovals enough.
I think she got pretty lucky with her handscore, it bumped her scaled score up by two points, if they had also given her the points for the ones she had only put a dot in the oval, her score would have gone up by four scaled points. The person that did the handscore must have been in a generous mood at the time, it was for a December test in a year when the scores were released right around X-mas. This is the only case I've every heard of where they gave the person the points for poorly filled in ovals the scoring machine refused to count, but I've heard of cases where in a handscore they took away points the machine grader had given because the handgrader person decided some bubbles were not filled in enough.

Crap... I may have to get it hand graded, then. Some of my bubbling could fall into the "probably valid/probably not valid" area.

Thank you so incredibly much for your help and humoring my rather stupid questions! I was PTing in the low to mid 170s and this has me beyond paranoid that I won't hit that mark anymore due to such an amateur move. I guess all I can do now is wait and see the score report.
