Anyone Else Have Trouble Sleeping?
I slept maybe 6 hours tonight. Was exhausted and fell asleep at 10pm, woke up at 12am, fell asleep again close to 1am, woke up again at 3am, fell asleep again, woke up at 4am, fell asleep again, woke up again at 5:15am. Now I can't go back to sleep so I'm taking a bath and staying up.
Do you know how mad I am that I couldn't go back to sleep? This is ridiculous. This happens EVERY time I take this test. I'm not even nervous my stupid body just won't cooperate with me. Now I'm gonna have to take it all out on the LSAT!!

I didn't sleep period. What pisses me off the most is that for the last 2 weeks, I have been going to bed at 10 and waking up at 6 to get my cycle set. All of that went out the window.

Next time go through a few levels from Super Mario Bros. 3 in your head once you lay down.
Works like a charm.

Next time I'm just gonna stay up watching horror movies, pop in Super Mario Bros. 3, play it until noon, take a nap, and then go get some celebratory LSAT avoidance liquor.Louis1127 wrote:Next time go through a few levels from Super Mario Bros. 3 in your head once you lay down.

Fortunately, the human body and brain can function just fine after one bad night of sleep. You freaking out over not sleeping well is about 10000000x more harmful to your score than actually waking up a couple of times.

That's so true. My two worst scores came when I was worrying about not getting enough sleep and tried to overcompensate by being aggressive. This was the first time I ever came into the exam with a clear mind, no worries, and extreme focus, even though I did have timing issues yesterday.

Re: Anyone Else Have Trouble Sleeping?
I literally never fell asleep. My plan was to go to bed at 9:45 pm and wake up at 6:30 am. After struggling to fall asleep for the first two hours I got super anxious; so much so that I became hyper aware of every time I was about to fall asleep, which prevented me from ever actually falling asleep.
I ended up just getting through the test with the help of a large D&D coffee and two five hour energy drinks, and though I think I still did well, I definitely did not do as well as I might have otherwise.

Re: Anyone Else Have Trouble Sleeping?
Yea, I had a similar problem. I recently moved to my place and have an uncomfortable bed, so it could be that, but I was actually asleep for probably only 3 or 4 hours Friday night. I wasn't tossing or turning and freaking out or anything, just couldn't shut all the down.
It might just be something we have to deal with, IMO it's preferable to taking something that makes me less mentally sharp the next morning.

Re: Anyone Else Have Trouble Sleeping?
Omg whole week I slept at 10/11 and woke up at 6am to reset my sleep pattern. Day of the Lsat I'm waking up every 2 hrs for some reason. Still I didn't feel too tired as the adrenaline was pumping but I felt like shit after.DaRascal wrote:I slept maybe 6 hours tonight.
