Insight from people who did Prep Class + LSAT trainer

Hi everyone,
Long time lurker. Just kind of need advice from people who did a 1)prep class and 2)finished the LSAT trainer. I recently bought the LSAT TRAINER to improve my LR skills (my lowest section) so far its really helping. My LG section is better than my LR, I usually get 0-3 questions wrong on a timed section before the LSAT trainer. Right now, I'm on the LG section on the LSAT trainer and I realize that the techniques differ from what I've learned and instead it made it more confusing for me (I feel like I've develop my own system in the past that works for me on LG). Do you guys think I should just skip this part since so far my LG has been okay? I know I still need to keep practicing with drills though, of course.
I'm kind of torn, whether I should just skip ahead on the book to work on my LR skills and RC skills (which needs a lot more improvement) but I'm afraid I'm missing out on some valuable information about LG on the LSAT Trainer. But every time I progress on an LG lesson on the trainer, it feels like it's stuff I already know?
