I'm gonna be taking the Dec LSAT this year, after scoring a 155 timed PT back in July I have been focusing on drilling the LG, LR and RC using the Testmasters HW. Im' aiming to score a 170+, is there any advantage to taking an un-timed PT? Any direction is always appreciated from you guys.

I really don't think so. I've seen a few people on here advocate for one or two untimed PTs early on but I just don't think there is a value there. The extra time is so helpful, especially on LG, which you can almost always brute force with unlimited time.

I'm generally against doing untimed tests, but if you have the pre-PT40 tests in full length, I see no problem in breaking them down and drilling them by section or something of the like. People with Cambridge are basically doing the same thing.
I wouldn't do anything more recent than that untimed, but I guess it all depends on the schedule you have set for yourself and how many timed tests you want to do before test day.

Untimed tests are beneficial early on to see how well you know the material. The time element will cost you some efficiency. If untimed you are scoring 175, then you have a good understanding and any drops in your score is really a timing issue. If you can barely crack 160 untimed, then you need to review. You still don't have a solid understanding of the question types and how to attack them.

Im gonna be taking the Dec testdate and will be completing the entire Testmasters HW by the end of this week (Started back in July with a 155). Im aiming for the high 170's, so Im devoting the remaining two months to Timing and test taking strategy. I plan on taking PTs constantly and using old tests to practice my timing per section. Is this a solid strategy for the remaining two months? Always appreciate any advice from you guys!
