I really need help with my timing on LG. No matter how hard I've tried, I haven't been able to get any further than question 18 or 19 when I do a timed section. I understand the section fairly well and usually score near perfect on the 17-18 questions that I do answer. I inevitably run out of time at the beginning of section 4 though.

Has anyone else had this issue? I was hoping that timed practice + normal studying would eventually help me get through this issue. However, I've found that if I want to retain accuracy, I have to compromise and skip the last 3 or 4 on questions at the end of the section. I've noticed that oftentimes the 3rd game is the hardest game, so I've tried doing game 4 first instead of 3. This worked a few times, but I've also run into some nasty game 4's, which completely throws off my strategy lol. Any advice? I'd appreciate any help or anecdotal stories. I want to believe that a perfect (or near perfect) score in this section is possible. Thank you in advance.

Some students find it helpful to skip those questions (almost invariably the last question of a game) that change the set up. These usually take the form of "if Rule X is suspended and Rule Y is put in its place then..."

Typically these questions have a keystone deduction that unlocks the answer, but if you don't see that deduction (or in the infrequent cases where it just isn't there) they're likely to take well over 60 seconds, which isn't worth the time tradeoff if you could answer two simpler questions.

The best piece of advice I can give you is just to drill like mad. The fact that you aren't quite finishing suggests that you've got some room to improve on fundamentals. These improvements will, in turn, help you with speed. So my recommendation would be to stop timing yourself for the rest of this week, and slowly and methodically work through six or seven games making sure that you're doing everything perfectly.

That's good advice. Ultimately, if I learn the fundamentals perfectly, that should help with my timing. I actually took a Blueprint class and your logic game strategy was helpful. I just feel like it's hard to work on timing by NOT timing myself.
